Michael E. Carter

Candidate For Missouri Lieutenant Governor

When then Governor Mel Carnahan wrote Mike’s recommendation to Mizzou’s law school, he highly recommended Carter because of his family’s reputation and respect for “education and hard work.”

Carter is now Corporate Counsel for a major Missouri corporation, Senior Lecturer for the University of Missouri, real estate attorney and Director at the St. Louis Board of REALTORS.

Mike is a former judge, has worked for the United States Senate, Missouri's Attorney General and the Missouri Western District Court of Appeals.

He voted for Ross Perot in 1992, 1996 and for Ron Paul in 2008's Missouri Republican primary.  Mike believes in self-directed success, but understands that we don't all start from the same vantage point.
